Ingredients

    1/2 cup butter or oil
    1/2 cup peanut butter
    1/2 cup granulated sugar
    1/2 cup brown sugar
    1 egg
    1/2 tsp vanilla or rum extract
    1 1/2 cups ground up old fashion oats
    3/4 tsp baking soda
    1/4 tsp salt

Directions

Blend together oil or butter, peanut butter,sugars,egg and vanilla. Sift together dry ingredients, blend into creamed mixture. Preheat oven to 350, drop from teaspoon onto ungreased cooking sheet two inches apart. Criss cross with fork (optional) and bake 10-12 min in center oven rack.

    Incredible!
    Mine were a little dry but I had to use a powered egg substitute because I am allergic to eggs, but they were very tasty and we will add this recipe to our favorites. - 11/18/12
