Number of Servings: 12

Ingredients

    1 lb groud beef
    1 lrg container pasta sauce
    1 lrg container cottage cheese
    1 each red & green pepper chopped
    1 package small noodle pasta (usually cooked but will work either way)
    Equal parts water to pasta sauce
    Season to taste

Directions

Preheat oven to 375F
Brown ground beef
Mix beef, peppers, pasta sauce, water, cottage cheese, seasoning of choice, in a large roasting pan that has a lid.
Cover pan and bake for 70 minutes
Optional - During final 10 minutes remove lid and sprinkle shredded low fat cheese over top to create yummy crust.

    It's called "One Pot Pasta Bake" So I am assuming that you cook the pasta with it. I may be wrong though. - 1/19/11

    I just have a question. :) Granted, I am tired, but I read it 3 times. Does the pasta need to be cooked? Does it go into the roaster or get cooked alone? Recipe itself sounds amazing! - 10/25/10
