Ingredients

    Whole Flax Seed (Roasted Preferred)
    Quick Cook Steel Cut Oats (8 Minutes or Less)
    Vanilla Almond Milk (Low Fat)
    Water
    Cinnamon (optional)
    Salt (optional)

Directions

Boil .5 cup water. Once the water is boiling add the .5 cup almond milk, .375 (1/4 & 1/8) cup Steel Cut Quick Cook Oats. Reduce heat, cover and cook for 5-7 minutes (more or less depending on the direction of the quick oats purchased), stirring regularly. Within the last minute of cooking add 1 tablespoon whole flax seed and stir together. Remove from heat and allow to stand 1 minute, before serving sprinkle with a dash of salt and cinnamon, as desired.
