Ingredients

    *Brown Rice, long grain, 1 cup
    Brown sugar Splenda, .5 cup divided
    *Applie Pie Filling or slices - No sugar added, 2 - 20oz. cans
    Cinnamon, ground, 2 tsp
    Lemon Juice, 2T
    Oats, 1.5 cup
    Butter, salted, 2 tbsp
    Walnuts, .5 cup, chopped

Directions

Preheat oven to 350. Prepare rice according to package. Spray a shallow baking dish 13 x 9 with cooking spray. Combine cooked rice, apples, lemon juice, .25c brown sugar, & cinnamon in prepared dish. Combine oatmeal, butter, remaining brown sugar splenda until mixture resembles course crumbs. Add nuts. Sprinkle over rice. Bake for 20 minutes. Serve warm.

Serving Size: Makes 8 large servings or 12 medium.
Calculations are for medium servings.
Any other reduced sugar pie filling works also. I tried it with cherry.
