Introduction
I got this from a friend, whom I believe got it on a recipe site on-line.This is HANDS DOWN the BEST beer bread I have EVER had. It is also the easiest bread recipe I have ever made. I got this from a friend, whom I believe got it on a recipe site on-line.
This is HANDS DOWN the BEST beer bread I have EVER had. It is also the easiest bread recipe I have ever made.

Ingredients

3 C. Flour (SIFTED)
3 tsp. Baking Powder
1 tsp. Salt
1/4 C. Sugar
1 (12 oz.) Bottle of Beer (can use can...but, some people can taste a flavor difference.
1/4 (4 Tbl.) Butter, melted
Directions
1) Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Grease loaf pan.
2) SIFT the flour, salt and baking powder. (Make sure you SIFT, it is VITAL to the end result of the recipe.)
3) Add in the beer. Mix well.
4) Put mixture into loaf pan.
5) Pour melted butter on top.*
6) Bake for about 1 hour (check after 45 minutes...should be golden brown).
7) Cool for 15 miutes.
* If you have a small loaf pan, put a cookie sheet under the pan to catch butter that over flows. You can use less butter if desired.
