Ingredients

    12 slices wheat bread
    2 c. shredded cheese blend
    2 c. diced ham
    2 tea dried minced onion
    6 well beaten eggs
    3 1/2 c milk
    1 tea salt
    1/2 tea dry mustard powder
    1/2 tea worcestershire sauce

Directions

Grease 9x13 casserole. Cut bread into donut shaped pieces (I use a cup and a bottle top. Save extra pieces and break them into small pieces and line bottom of pan with broken bread, diced ham and cheese reserving enough cheese to top caserole with later. Place donut rings on top. Sprinkle with onions. Beat together milk, eggs, salt, dry mustard and worchestershire sauce. Pour liquid mixture over casserole making sure all bread is saturated. Refrigerate over night. Bake covered in foil sprayed with oil to keep it from sticking at 350* for 45 mins. Remove foil and then add remaining cheese to top of casserole. Bake 15 mins. longer. Cool 10 mins. before serving.
