Introduction

I usually double this because it takes quite awhile to put together. I package it into 1 oz. bags for work snacks. I usually double this because it takes quite awhile to put together. I package it into 1 oz. bags for work snacks.
Number of Servings: 15

Ingredients

    4 oz almonds
    4 oz walnuts
    8 oz pecans
    2T water
    1 egg
    .5 cup Splenda
    1 t cumin
    1 t cayenne
    1 t red pepper flakes
    1 t cinnamon

Directions

Whisk together spices, splenda, water and egg. Pour them over combined nuts. Put into cookie pan or 9x12 cake pan. Bake at 250 for 40 minutes. Stir nuts every once in awhile. Bake another 30 minutes at 200.

Serving Size: Makes about 15 1-oz. servings

    These were very good and easy to throw together. I just used almonds, because that's all I had on hand. They are more sweet than spicy, so I would lower the Splenda in my next batch. Overall, these are delightful! - 6/19/11
