Number of Servings: 4

Ingredients

1/2 pound turkey tenderloin, cut into thin slices
    1 teaspoon olive oil
    1 1/2 teaspoons Greek seasoning
    1 large cucumber, peeled
    1 cup fat-free plain yogurt
    1/3 cup minced onion
    2 teaspoons dill weed
    1 cup shredded romaine lettuce
    8 thinly sliced tomato slices
    1/8 cup crumbled feta cheese
4 (6-inch) whole wheat pita breads, warmed

Directions

1. Thinly slice half of the cucumber and set aside until it is time to assemble your gyros.
Finely chop the remainder of the cucumber. Combine the chopped cucumber, plain yogurt, onion and dill weed in a bowl. Refrigerate while you prepare the rest of the meal to allow the flavors to meld.
2. In a nonstick skillet, saute turkey in oil for 5-8 minutes or until no longer pink. Sprinkle with Greek seasoning.
3. To warm your pitas... lay a damp paper towel on a plate. Place one pita on top of the plate and cover with another slightly damper paper towel. Microwave for 30 seconds. Repeat until you have warmed all the pita bread.
4. Place lettuce, tomato, sliced cucumber, turkey and feta cheese on top of pita breads. Top with cucumber sauce. Bring edges of pita over filling and Enjoy!
