Introduction

This is my customary breakfast when I am on track. It is modified from a recipe in The Hormone Diet by Dr. Natasha Turner (http://www.thehormonediet.com/), which is the diet I'm following. Number of Servings: 1

Ingredients

1 cup of mixed berries (I use Kirklands Rader Farms Frozen Mixed Berries)

3/4 cup of unsweetened almond milk

1/4 to 1/3 cup of plain, unsweetened yogurt

1 scoop of high-quality whey protein isolate powder

    1 tbsp of chia seeds

Directions

Whether using a Magic Bullet or blender to blend this, put the ingredients into the cup in the order listed so as to prevent clumping and poor mixing.

Blend for less than a minute. The Magic Bullet takes about 10-15 seconds to get it done. Do not overblend. That's it!

Serving Size: Makes one smoothie.
