Introduction

A concoction of seemingly random ingredients, blends perfectly to create a sweet and tangy marinade for salmon. A concoction of seemingly random ingredients, blends perfectly to create a sweet and tangy marinade for salmon.
Number of Servings: 6

Ingredients

    MARINADE:
1/4 c soy sauce (low sodium would be better)
    1/4 c packed brown sugar
    1/4 c water
    1/4 c olive oil
    1/2 tsp lemon pepper seasoning

    6 salmon filets

Directions

Mix all of the marinade ingredients into a large baggie and add the salmon filets. Let the mixture sit in the refrigerator for quite some time (I recommend several hours) to marinade. Remove the filets from the marinade and dispose of the rest of the marinade.

I cook these on a countertop grill like a George Foreman, but you could also cook in the oven or an outdoor grill.

Bake/grill until the salmon is light pink/whiteish and flaky.

*The calorie count for this isn't accurate because you throw out quite a bit of marinade and don't consume it.
