Ingredients
-
Beef, round steak, 1 lb
Shrimp, raw, 40 medium
Garlic, .25 cup
Scallions, raw, 4 medium (4-1/8" long)
Olive Oil, 2 tbsp
Kikoman Teriyaki Marinade & Sauce, 4 tbsp
White Rice, long grain, 3 cup
Water, tap, 6 cup (8 fl oz)
Directions
Slice steak into aprox. 1/8 inch strips. Dice scallions.
Heat wok or wok-like pan on high. Add oil, garlic (minced), scallions and saute for a bit until they start to smell yumm-a-liscious. Place your beef in the pan and cook thru. Add your shrimp and the teriyaki sauce and continue to cook...
Meanwhile, boil your water in a seperate pot and once it starts a bubblin' away, add your rice. Turn heat down to Low and cover after you stir. Check every once in a while to stir so as to ensure you're not losing half your rice to the, "Bottom of the Pot Gods" but re-cover after checking. Timing is tricky, just keep reducing the water and watch for right consistency with water soak-age... it is too a real term. Er, now it is anyhow.
