Ingredients

    2 cups dry lentils
    1 cup lima beans
    1 cup quinua
    1 cup onion
    salt
    pepper
    garlic
    water

Directions

Cook in a large crock pot for 16 hours. Add quinua 2 hours before completed.

Serving Size: Make 10 8 oz servings

    JKodie, what beans did you cook in the chicken stock?

    I am wondering if there is a substitute for lima beans - they are my least fave. I will try black beans and report back.

    Incredible!
    I have a smoker. I smoked red peppers, onions, and garlic. Omitted Lima beans. I cooked the beans in chicken stock for more flavor. It was absolutely delishess! I will be making tis recipe again. - 10/21/11
