Ingredients

1 box Duncan Hines Banana Cake Mix
    1 can Vanilla Frosting
1 package (12 cubes) chocolate flavored candy coating (chocolate almond bark, NOT bakers chocolate)

Directions

Bake cake according to package directions and let cool completely. Once cooled, crumble cake into a bowl and add 1/2 to 1 can of vanilla frosting (nutritionals are based on full can). Mix thoroughly until cake and frosting mixture hold together easily when rolled into a ball. Roll into 1 in. balls and place on cookie sheet. Place in refrigerator for at least 2 hours or overnight. Melt chocolate bark according to package directions (do not overheat as bark will crystallize and become thick). Using a fork, candy fork or toothpick, coat each cake ball in chocolate bark and place on parchment or waxed paper to set. **While this is by no means a "healthy" recipe, this is a lower calorie alternative to a full slice of cake and satisfies the cake craving without completely wrecking your diet at 116 calories per cake ball. These are very sweet and rich. Enjoy! Experimenting with different flavor combinations is also fun, just be sure to adjust the nutritionals accordingly.
