I threw this in the crock pot yesterday morning and when I walked in the door 7 hours later, I was met with an overwhelming burnt smell! The BBQ Tempeh was burnt to a crisp! STRONGLY suggest adding more liquid of some kind or watch very closely. Can't rate because I didn't taste it. Might try again. - 4/13/12

    Incredible!
I loved this recipe! I accidentally added 32 oz of tomato sauce which I think added some good body to it but turned it kind of more into sloppy joe style. I also added about 1/2 onion which I thought went nicely in it, too. I used 8 oz of tempeh, but I think you could double it if you wanted. - 8/17/11

    Very Good
Yummy. I had to add water partway through cooking because it was getting dry. - 1/25/10

this sounds really yummy. How many oz in a package? I've seen brands with way different content sizes. - 12/5/07
