Introduction

This was my grandmother's Thanksgiving stuffing recipe but I made a few changes to make it healthier... You could add dried cranberries for an added flare. To make it even healthier you could use a butter sub. &/ subtract the potato &/ Use an Egg sub. This was my grandmother's Thanksgiving stuffing recipe but I made a few changes to make it healthier... Ingredients

    1/3 C Chopped raw onion
    1/2 C Chopped raw celery
    4 Tbsp Butter, unsalted
    1/2 C College Inn Chicken Broth - 99% Fat Free
    8 slices Weight Watchers, Whole Wheat Bread
    1 dash Black Pepper
    1 1/2 tsp Bell's Seasoning
    1 Egg
    1 Large Potato

Directions

Peel & boil potato, Mash, set aside to cool.

Saute onion & celery in butter until golden.

Pour onion, celery mix & Broth over broken up bread & mix. Let that cool off a little.

Add Pepper, Bell's seasoning, 1 beaten egg and the mashed potato MIX WELL

Stuff Bird small bird
or put in a baking dish set in oven, Bake 50 minutes covered, remove cover bake 10 more minutes
