Introduction

a delicious chili soup, perfect for a rainy day. a delicious chili soup, perfect for a rainy day.
Number of Servings: 3

Ingredients

    1 19oz can of black beans, drained and rinsed
    2 14oz cans of stewed tomatoes
    4tbsp - 1/2 cup salsa
    2 tbsp chopped onion
    2 tbsp chopped red or green pepper
    1 tsp oil
    1/2 tsp chili powder
    1/4 tsp cumin powder

Directions

heat oil in soup pot.
Saute onions and peppers until tender.
Add all other ingredients and cook until heated through.
top off with grated cheese if desired and serve with a handful of tortilla chips.

Serving Size: makes about three 1.5 cup servings
