Ingredients


    1 cup All Bran cereal
    1 cup chopped dates
    1 cup water
    1 cup oatmeal
    1 cup whole wheat flour
    3/4 cup sugar
    1t salt
    1t baking soda
    1 cup buttermilk

    combine dates and water in saucepan. bring to boil and simmer 5 mins
    stir dry ingredients (except baking soda)
    add 1t baking soda to buttermilk
    add drained dates


Directions

bake at 350 for 1 hour in large loaf pan or muffin tins (decrease cook time)
