Introduction

This is a quick and low calorie meal option. With the exception of the chicken and sometimes lettuce, I get all the ingredients from my garden. This is a quick and low calorie meal option. With the exception of the chicken and sometimes lettuce, I get all the ingredients from my garden.

Ingredients

    2 cups chopped iceberg lettuce (any other lettuce or combination of lettuces can be used)
    1 can (5 oz.) chicken (near the canned tuna)
    1/4 c diced tomato (any variety of tomato can be used)
    2 tbsp chopped or shredded fresh lemon basil
    1 tbsp chopped or shredded fresh common thyme
    2 tbsp Good Seasons Zesty Italian Salad Dressing, prepared w/ light salad olive oil
    Freshly ground black pepper, to taste

Directions

Open can of chicken and drain. Flake chicken into bowl. Chop the lettuce, tomato, fresh basil and fresh thyme to desired size. Add to bowl. Toss with salad dressing to coat.

Serving Size: makes 1 big salad
