Ingredients

    2 cups browned ground beef
    2 cups canned chili beans in sauce
    6 oz tomato paste
    1.5 tsp chili powder
    Jiffy corn muffin mix
    1 egg
    1/3 cup 2%milk
    2/3 cup of cheddar cheese (shredded)
    1 Tblsp chives

Directions

Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Brown ground beef, drain. (While beef is browning, mix together Jiffy mix, egg, and milk.) Put 2 cups ground beef in an 8 x 8 baking dish. Add 2 cups canned chili beans, tomato paste and chili powder, mix together. Pour jiffy cornbread mixture over the top. Sprinkle with cheese and chives.

Bake at 375 degrees for 30 minutes or until cornbread on top is done.

Personalize to your taste by adding your own spices to the meat and bean mix.
