If you don't have sour milk, can add 1 tbsp vinegar or lemon juice to milk to curdle it. You also need to add boiling water at the end. Ingredients

1/2 cup margarine or shortening
1 c packed brown sugar
1 c white sugar
2 eggs
1/2 cup sour milk
2 c. white flour
4 tbsp unsweetened dry cocoa powder
2 tsp baking soda
1/4 tsp baking powder
dash salt
1 c boiling water
1 tsp vanilla extract
Directions: Sift together flour, cocoa, soda, powder and salt until well mixed, set aside. Cream margarine, sugars, eggs and sour milk. Gradually add and mix dry mixture to batter until homogenous. Pour 1 cup of boiling water into batter while mixing on "stir" or "low". Add vanilla and mix slowly until smooth and even consistency. Batter will be very thin. Frost with Easy Penache Brown Sugar Frosting.
Directions
Bake in 9X13 greased cake pan at 350 degree oven for 45 minutes or until toothpick pulls out clean.
