Introduction
Starter for Yogurt using 6oz Oikos yogurt as starter in 1/2 gallon skim milk Starter for Yogurt using 6oz Oikos yogurt as starter in 1/2 gallon skim milkNumber of Servings: 5
Ingredients

Skim Milk
Oikos yogurt or live cultures yogurt
Directions
Put 1/2gal milk into crockpot on HI. Heat until 180 degrees. Turn off crockpot.
Let cool to 110 degrees.
Add yogurt to 1c warm milk. Mix well.
Add yogurt/milk mixture to crockpot.
Wrap crockpot in towels or blankets to retain heat.
Leave overnight.
If desired, drain with cheesecloth or paper towel in colander.
I add honey, vanilla, and fruit to this for breakfast. I've used Splenda but it's just not as tasty as honey.
Save a few T of this for starter for your next batch.
Serving Size: Makes 4 1-cup servings of Greek Yogurt
