Introduction

This isn't necessarily what you would call diet on any planet, but this is the birthday cake of choice in our home, so when it is baked, I want to be able to account for the hideous amount of calories, etc. It is a MOST AMAZING chocolate cake though - a cross between cake and brownie. Number of Servings: 16

Ingredients

    3 cups flour
    2 coups sugar
    2 tp baking soda
    1 tsp salt
    6 Tbsp cocoa powder

    3/4 cup vegetable oil
    2 Tbsp vinegar
    2 tsp vanilla

    2 cups water

Directions

Mix dry ingredients, add all wet ingredients except water. Mix. Add water. Mix.
Pour into greased cake tin and bake 30-45min depending on size/shape of tin. Tooth pick inserted in the centre should come out clean.
Note: If you grease pan and place parchment paper on bottom of tin, this cake will come out very easily.
