Ingredients

    1/2 cup chocolate or vanilla whey protein powder
    1/2 cup egg whites (2 jumbo eggs, three medium eggs)

Directions

Preheat oven to 200 degrees.
Whip the egg whites on highest possible speed until they are frothy, foamy, and light (5 minutes, at least).
Add one third off egg whites to protein powder in another bowl. Mix with rubber spatula.
Add another third, mixing almost completely.
Add the rest of the egg whites and mix completely.
Grease cookies sheet lightly with cooking spray.
Place mixture on cookie sheet by 1/4 cupfuls.
Bake two hours, or until dry.

Serving Size: Makes 5 Large Meringues or 10 Small Meringues

    This was a highly disappointing turn out. I'm certain that whoever wrote this never tried it because 2 hours is WAY too long. I took them out after 45 minutes and they were already dry and too well done. The texture is all wrong and the flavor is lacking too. - 4/4/19
