Ingredients

    2 TBSp milk (skim, 1%)
    1 cup of bran (i used raisin bran)
    4 sm bananas (ripe)
    1 tsp baking powder
    .5 tsp baking soda
    1/3 c maple syrup (i used lo cal)
    2 C flour
    1/3 c butter sub.
    2 eggs (i used .5c egg beaters)
    -blend dry ingredients, set aside. Mix cereal mashed (ripe) bananas, milk-mash well and let sit for 5 min to soften cereal. Mix butter sub, syrup, and cereal mixture well, beat in egg beaters. Stir in cereal mixture and add in dry mix. Stir to combine. Put in greased loaf pan for about 50 min at 350 degrees. The original recipe called for chopped prunes and apricots(7-8each)

Directions

Makes 12 slices of bread.
