Introduction

Just a basic recipe for Coleslaw; best when it can be made the day before so the flavors have a chance to meld. Just a basic recipe for Coleslaw; best when it can be made the day before so the flavors have a chance to meld.

Ingredients

    Fresh Express 3 Color Deli Coleslaw (16oz) bag
    Balsalmic Vinegar (1 TBLSP)
    Kraft Mayo w/Olive Oil Reduced Fat May (12 TBLSP)
    Granulated Sugar (2 tspns)
    Black Pepper (1/8 to 1/4 tsp)
    Dried Dill Weed (1/4 to 1/3 tsp)
    Onions, Raw (1/2 to 2/3 cup) diced
    Celery, Fresh (1/2 to 2/3 cup) diced

Directions

Pretty much a "no brainer" .... combine wet ingredients & seasonings then add to the coleslaw & mix well. Best if it can be refrigerated overnight & stirred 2 or 3 times before serving.

    THIS TASTY SALAD WITH MUCH LESS FAT & SUGAR. I USED MAPLE SYRUP INSTEAD OF SUGAR, AND CUT MY OWN CABBAGE, SHREDDED IN A CARROT. I USED LIME JUICE, NOT VINEGAR & OMITTED DILL. STILL GOOD, IMPROVES OVERNITE. - 4/22/11

    with all the changes you made to the recipe it bears no resemblance to mine at all .... maybe you should publish your own recipe separately

    Glad you & your company enjoyed it. At some point, I need to edit it though, since I forgot I also use about 1/2 to 2/3 cup celery as well.
