    2 cups each blackberries and blueberries
    1/4 c splenda
    2 tbsp cornstarch
    1 tsp cinnamon
    1 c whole wheat flour
    2 cups old fashioned oats
    2 tbspmargarine or butter


Makes 12 1/2 cup servings
1. Preheat oven to 375
2 Cook berries with cornstarch and splenda on stove until thick and clear.
3. Pour into 2 qt baking dish.
4. Mix flour,cinnamon, butter and oatmeal until crumbly
5. Place on top of berries. Bake until golden. about 20 minutes.

  • I used a frozen variety of berries from costco. The topping was a little dry so I added a little bit of brown sugar and an extra tablespoon of butter. - 2/22/09

  • I made a change to the topping. The topping listed didn't work out well for me. so i changed it and it was wonderful . Also i used a variety of berry s. - 12/9/07
