Ingredients
-
650 gram Top Sirloin Roast Beef
4 T Red Wine Vinegar
1 pkg Dry Au Jus Gravy Mix
2 T Whole Grain Mustard
2 cloves garlic, minced
2 shallots, chopped finely
2 oz tap water
Directions
Combine all ingredients except the beef in a hand blender (shaker, mixer). Mix well.
Pour marinade over the beef and continue to turn and marinate for 2 hours.
On a preheated BBQ, grill for 20 minutes or until desired. Turning only once.
Let rest for 10 minutes.
Meanwhile, put all marinade in a saucepan with 2 more ounces of water. Bring to a boil and cook for 5 minutes.
Cut the beef across the grain into thin slices and serve with sauce.
I like to compliment this with grilled zucchini, peppers, and romaine lettuce (grilled) as well as grilled polenta.
Serving Size: Makes 6 servings of 100 grams (roughly 3 oz)
