Number of Servings: 4

Ingredients

    3/4 pound of whole wheat pasta (elbow, spiral, etc)
    1 jar of spaghetti sauce
    1/2 pound of lean hamburger
    1 1/2 cups of diced celery
    3 Tbs chopped onion

Directions

Boil water and cook pasta till done. Cook hamburger, onion, and celery till browned. Add sauce and stir. Add pasta to desired constency. Serve. Makes 4 large servings. Can add shredded cheese to top and melt.

    Great, made some minor changes I doubled the batch since I had extra meat. I didn't have enough spaghetti sauce so I used one can of tomatoes w/ green chilies and one sm can of tomato paste. Seasoned with Garlic powder, Basil,Oregano and tad of cheese on top with a dollop of low-fat sour cream. - 11/2/08

    I know there are lots of Hungarians running about Italy these days; however, a true Goulash requires paprika, regardless of where you are. - 5/28/09
