Mini tarts for those who miss the cheesecake taste but not the calories :) Mini tarts for those who miss the cheesecake taste but not the calories :)Number of Servings: 12
Ingredients
-
1 cup Nonfat Cottage Cheese
4 Tbsp Low-Sugar/No-Sugar Added Strawberry (Or other fruit) Jam
12 Tart Shells
12 Fat Free Berry candies
Directions
An easy recipe!!
For my tarts, I have to cook them for about 10 minutes. I cook the tarts first (just until they are golden brown) and then work on the rest.
Then, I mix the jam and cottage cheese together in a bowl. Once the tarts are cooled down a bit, I like to add a sprinkling of graham cracker crumbs and cinnamon, but it is not necessary. Then, I fill the tart shells with the jam and cheese mixture. I use a heaping tablespoon for each tart, and it makes 12 perfectly.
I put a berry candy onto each tart, and then put them in the fridge until they are to be served.
They taste just like cheesecake!! And have lots of protein thanks to the cottage cheese.
