Introduction
I halved the original recipe (Tossed Salad with Creamy Garlic Dressing) and left out the salad ingredients so I can use this dressing on other salads. My gestimate is this makes one cup of dressing - 2 tbsp. per svg. = 8 svgs. Pepper, black, 1/8 tsp.
Garlic, 1 clove minced
Onions, raw, 1 tbsp chopped
Water, tap, 2 tbsp.
Granulated Sugar, 3 tbsp.
Red Wine Vinegar, 2 tbsp.
Hellman's Mayonnaise,1/4 c.
Giant Brand Lite Sour Cream, 3/4 c.
Directions
Combine vinegar, water, onion and garlic in small saucepan. Simmer until the onion is tender, about 5 minutes. Add sugar, simmer until dissolved. Cool to room temperature. Stir in mayo, sour cream and pepper.
