Number of Servings: 4
Ingredients
-
Butter, unsalted, 2 tbsp (I really think it's better for you than margarine)
Chicken Breast, no skin, 4 large
Chicken Broth, .33 cup (8 fl oz)
Garlic powder, 1 tbsp
Paprika, 1 tsp (optional)
Salt, 1 tsp (to taste)
Pepper, black, 1 dash (to taste)
Curry powder, 1 tsp (Optional)
Philedelphia Cooking Cream, 1.25 cup (You can use regular cream cheese if you like. I had a coupon)
Fettucini, 8 oz
Directions
In a large pasta pot(or stewpot) bring 4-6 quarts water and a sprinkle of salt to a boil. In large heavy skillet, melt butter. Cube the chicken breast, and sprinkle with spices, salt and pepper. Add to hot pan, and stir. Cover and let cook through. About 6 minutes.
Add pasta to boiling water, cover.
To skillet, Add broth, stir, and let cook another 3 minutes. Add cream cheese, and stir to coat chicken, cook another 3 minutes. Cover and check pasta.
When pasta is done to taste, drain and pour into serving dish. Add alfredo sauce to pasta and toss lightly.
Serve warm. Keeps well, reheats better.
