Number of Servings: 6

Ingredients

    1 bag Banquet Crockpot Classics Hearty Beef & Vegetables
    1 cup 16-bean soup mix (dry beans)
    1 large potato, cubed (not peeled)
    1 large onion, chopped

Directions

Rinse 1 cup of 16-bean soup mix.
Add to the crockpot with 1 quart of water on high for 2 hrs.
Drain and add 1 quart of hot water
Add the gravy mix from the Banquet Crockpot Classics
Add the Hearty Beef & Vegetables mix
(not the potatoes yet)
Slowcooker on low for 9 hrs
Add potatoes from mix + 1 large potato cubed
Add 1 large onion, chopped
Slowcooker on high for 1 hr

I don't add salt. I use salt-free spice mixes.

In total it takes about 12 hrs
2 hrs for the initial bean soak
10 hrs for the beef, vegetables & potatoes

Yields 6 good size servings
