Introduction

Ingredients

    Sainsbury's extra lean irish beef mince (500g),
    Onions, raw, 0.5 medium (2-1/2" dia)
    *Uncle Ben's Boil-in-Bag Long Grain Rice, 1 bag
    Red Bell Pepper, 1 medium
    *Asda Passata (UK), 350 gram(s)
    *chilli powder, 2 tsp
    *Cumin seed, 1 tsp
    Paprika, 2 tsp
    *Bisto Original Gravy Powder, 20 gram
    *Black Pepper (Ground), 1 tsp

Directions

Brown the mince in a pan with the onion and some ground pepper.

In the meantime, boil 1/2 pint water and mix with 4 tsp of gravy. Place in a saucepan and add the finely chopped red pepper, 2 tsp of chilli powder and 3 or 4 pinches of paprika (or make it as hot as you like).

When the meat has browned, drain it off and pour in the saucepan. Add the passata, stir thoroughly and let it simmer for 30 minutes.

Boil 1 bag of Uncle Ben's "boil in a bag" long grain rice and add it to the saucepan in the end. Mix thoroughly, divide into 4 portions and enjoy! :)
