Introduction

This is a very basic way to prepare the blend. You may season it many ways. It has a rather pungent taste. Adding some tomato sauce and a little grated cheese is delicious. Ingredients

    1 lb. Trader Joe's Southern Greens blend (mustard,turnip,collards,spinach)
    1 cup onions, chopped
    3 garlic cloves, minced
    1 TB olive oil

Directions

Saute onion and garlic in olive oil
Add greens. Stir as they wilt. Add enough water to keep them from sticking. (1/4 to 1/2 cup should do it.)
Season adventurously! These are pungent greens; they can stand up to pretty much whatever you throw at them. Experiment. A little tomato sauce thrown in at the end is good as well. (Not included in the nutrient count.)

Serving Size: Makes 4 1-cup servings.
