Ingredients
-
Garlic, 1 clove
Onions, raw, .25 cup, chopped
*Laughing Cow Light Creamy Swiss Original Cheese (Serving = 1 wedge), 3 serving
Nature's Own Sugar Free 100% Whole Grain Wheat Bun, 4 bun
Spinach, fresh, 1 cup
Red Ripe Tomatoes, 4 slice, medium (1/4" thick)
*BacOs Bacon Bits, 3 tbsp
*Ground Beef 93% Lean, 16 oz
Directions
Season beef with salt and pepper, if you like. Combine beef with baco bits, minced garlic and onions, and knead to evenly distribute. Form into a ball and, using your thumb, make a large, hollow indentation in the ball (past the center but not all the way through). Fill the hole with cheese and squeeze the meat to seal, making sure no cheese is exposed. Use 3/4 of a triangle for each one. Flatten slightly into a thick patty.
Bring a skillet or grill pan sprayed with nonstick spray to medium-high heat on the stove. Place patty in the skillet/pan, cover, and cook for 4 - 7 minutes per side, depending on how well-done you like your burger. (Don't press on the patty with your spatula -- your patty might ooze cheese!)
Place on a whole wheat sugar free bun and top with spinach and tomato!
