Ingredients

    11/2cups old fashioned oats
    3 cups water
    3 tbsp blueberries (dried, or fresh if you add them at the VERY end before you eat!)
    1 large apple, chopped
    Cinnamon
    (sugar optional, but not included in recipe calculation)

Directions

Throw it all in a crockpot sprayed with cooking spray (or you'll have a mess in the morning!) Turn it on low for about 7 hours.

    To make it not stick create a water bath in your crock pot. Use a corningware dish that fits in your crockpot and put ingredients inside the dish. Add water to the crockpot so it's about 1/2 way up the corningware dish and cook as directed. - 1/17/10

  • I decided to double the recipe and added some ground chia seeds and wheat germ. Because of the chia seeds, I added an extra cup of water and it turned out great! Thanks so much for the recipe :) - 4/4/11

  • This ended dup being in the crockpot a little longer than the recipe called for, so it stuck in the pot a little but it cleaned ok after soaking it in hot water. I think it needed a little something else though. It just seemed kind of bland. - 1/20/11
