A lighter and healthie version of canned spaghetti sauce. This sauce is full of veggetables and nutrients. Serve with whole wheat pasta for a delishous meal. Leftovers are great too! Ingredients

1 lb. ground turkey
1/3 c. diced onion
1/3 c. diced carrots
1/2 c. diced zucchini
1 c. chopped mushrooms
3 Tbsp. minced garlic
1 (28 oz.) can crushed tomatoes
1 (15 oz.) can tomato sauce
1/4 tsp. ground oregano
1/2 tsp. ground basil
Directions
Dice, mince or chop all veggies.
Spray a large skillet with non stick cooking spray.
Heat skillet to med-high.
Put onion, carrots zucchini, mushrooms and garlic in skillet and saute 2 minutes.
Then add turkey meat, breaking it up and mixing it with veggies as it cooks. Cook turkey until no longer pink.
Add canned tomatoes and seasoning.
Simmer approximatley 30 minutes.
Serving Size: 1 serving is 3/4 cup
