1 Cup Water
1/3 Cup Hodgson Mill Multi Grain Hot Cereal-Milled Flaxseed & Soy
1 Cup Gala apple sliced thinly
1 teabag Celestial Seasonings Cinnamon Apple Spice herb tea
1oz Torani Sugar Free Caramel Syrup
Directions
Serves 1
1. Bring 1 C of water to boil. Remove from heat.
2. Add teabag and let steep in hot water while you slice apple.
3. Slice and core apple.
4. Remove tea bag and discard. Poach apple slices in 1/2 C tea until soft..
5. Remove apple slice s. Retain tea in saucepan .
6. Put apple slices into serving bowl. Drizzle with 1/2 oz Torani Caramel Syrup.
7. Pour remaining tea into sauce pan and stir in hot cereal. Cook uncovered over medium high heat for 2 minutes or so. Cook down water to desired consistency thickness.
8. Pour hot cooked cereal over sliced poached apples in bowl. Drizzle remaining 1/2 oz. Torani Sugar Free Caramel Syrup over cereal.
