Introduction

Not a true chili; it is more of a thick hamburger/tomato/bean soup. Not a true chili; it is more of a thick hamburger/tomato/bean soup.

Ingredients

    5 # extra lean ground beef
    1 large onion, chopped
    1 large green bell pepper, chopped
    3 Family Size cans Campbell's Tomato Soup
    2 Large cans kidney beans
    Garlic to taste (about a tablespoon for us)
    Salt and pepper to taste

Directions

Brown ground beef with onion and bell peppers. Add other ingredients. Bring to slow boil, cover, reduce heat and simmer for at least three hours. Serve next day for deepest flavor. This would be good in a slow cooker after browning in a large skillet.
