This recipe is our favorite, and it is very basic. This recipe is our favorite, and it is very basic.

    6 cups fresh blackeyed peas
    6 slices bacon
    6 cups water


Put washed, shelled peas in crock pot. Add bacon (can cut up if desired) and water. Cook on low for 6-8 hours. Add water as needed.

Serving Size: Six one cup servings
