Directions
*preheat oven to 350 degrees, grease a 9-inch springform pan
*To make the cake, cook apples in a little bit of water on the stove or in the microwave until a little soft but not mushy.
*With an electric hand mixture or using a wooden spoon, cream the sugar, applesauce, and milk. Add the flour and baking powder and combine
*Add the batter and arrange the apple slices on top in a circle
*to make the topping mix the brown sugar, cinnamon, and ginger and sprinkle over the top of the cake
*bake for 30-40 minutes. Let cool for 15 minutes before removing from the cake pan.
