Ingredients

    1 lb mild italian sausage
    1 32 oz jar prepared pasta sauce
    1 cup water
    1 15 oz carton of ricotta
    2 tablespoons chopped chives
    1/2 tablespoon dried oregano
    1 egg
    8 oz lasagna noodles
    1 16oz package sliced mozzarella
    2 tablespoons shredded parmesan

Directions

brown sausage in large skillet, drain well. add spaghetti sauce and water. blend well. simmer 5 minutes. in medium bowl, combine ricotta, chives, oregano and egg. Mix well. In bottom of ungreased 9X13 baking dish spread 1 1/2 cups meat sauce, top with half of the noodles, half of ricotta mixture and half of mozzarella cheese. Repeat with remaining noodles, ricotta mixture and mozzarella cheese. top with remaining meat sauce and sprinkle with parmesan. cover and refrigerate overnight.

Heat oven to 350degrees. Uncover baking dish. bake 50 to 60 minutes or until noodles are tender and casserole is bubbly. cover and let stand 15 minutes before serving

    Incredible!
    This is the easiest and best lasagna. I've made it for years. The only change I make is to use 93%lean ground beef instead of the italian sausage. It also freezes great!
