Ingredients

    Cabbage, fresh, 1 head, medium, chopped
    Onions, raw, 1 medium, sliced
    Chicken Broth, 1 cup
    Light Red Kidney Beans, 1-15oz. can, rinsed and drained
    Smoked turkey sausage, 8oz (save rest for Brkfast)
    Olive Oil, 1 tbsp

Directions

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Place sausage on a baking sheet and cook for 20 minutes.

In a Dutch oven heat oil over medium high heat. Saute onion until clear. Add chopped cabbage, chicken broth, beans bring to a boil then reduce heat to simmer.

When finished remove, sausage and slice into 1/2 inch rounds then slice those in halves. Add to stew.

Add salt and pepper to taste. I add a few red pepper flakes too.

Simmer for 15 - 20 more minutes. Until cabbage is tender.
