Ingredients

    *Turkey, Ground turkey, 93% lean, 20 oz
    Garlic, 3 cloves
    Onions, raw, 2 medium (2-1/2" dia)
    Cabbage, fresh, 4 cup, shredded
    Carrots, raw, 2 medium
    Celery, raw, 4 stalk, medium (7-1/2" - 8" long)
    Vegetable Juice Cocktail (V8), 46 fl oz
    *Ragu Spaghetti Sauce (tomato sauce), 4 cup
    *Del Monte Petite Cut Diced Tomatoes, 3 cup
    Goya Roman Beans, canned (also called Cranberry Beans), 3.5 cup
    Chickpeas (garbanzo beans), 3.5 cup
    Macaroni, whole-wheat, 1 cup elbow shaped
    Olive Oil, 1 tbsp
    Water, tap, 6 cup (8 fl oz)
    *Fennel seed, 2 tbsp
    Oregano, ground, 1 tbsp
    Basil, 2 tbsp
    Salt, 1 tsp

Directions

In a huge stockpot, heat oil over medium-high heat. Add finely chopped onion, garlic, celery and carrots. Cook and stir until soft. Add the ground turkey and the spices, cooking until turkey is nicely browned. Now add the remaining ingredients, bring to a boil, reduce heat and simmer for about 30 minutes. (If you want to simmer it longer, wait to add the pasta until about 15 minutes before serving.)
