Introduction

Ingredients

    1 lb ground lean turkey
    1/2 cup chopped onion
    2 tsp. taco seasoning
    1 can (16oz) tomato sauce
    1 can (16 oz) corn (drained)
    2 cups bisquick
    1 cup original rice milk
    2 eggs

Tips

The original recipe calls for 2 cups of shredded cheese between the meat layer and the bisquick layer. I am sure it's great that way too!


Directions

Heat oven to 325.
Grease rectangular pan 9x13
Cook ground turkey and onion in a skillet, stirring frequently until turkey is cooked, drain. Stir in dry seasoning mix, tomato sauce and corn. Spoon into pan. Stir bisquick mix, rice milk, and eggs until smooth. Pour over turkey mixture.
Bake about 35 minutes or until knife comes out clean. Cool 10 minutes before serving.

    Incredible!
    It was good we used a can of stewed Italian tomatoes instead of the sauce and the taco seasoning. Very easy to make too. - 1/23/21
