Ingredients

    - Turkey (light meat), 6 cup, chopped or diced
    - Celery, raw, 2.5 cup, diced
    - Onions, raw, 1 cup, chopped
    - Cranberries, dried, sweetened (craisins), 2 cup
    - Salt, 1 tsp
    - Granulated Sugar, 2 tsp
    - Pepper, black, 1 tbsp
    - Celery seed, 2 tbsp
    - Lemon juice, 4 tbsp
    - Mayonnaise, regular (mayo), 1.5 cup

Tips

Nutritional Info does not include bread. Want to lighten the recipe? Go with a low-fat or fat free mayonnaise!

Sweetened/dried cranberries make this turkey salad filling amazing!

You can make this exact same recipe for chicken salad by substituting chicken for the turkey and dropping the sweetened/dried cranberries.


Directions

Combine the first eight ingredients and mix well. Next, sprinkle the lemon juice over everything and let sit for about 15 minutes so the lemon juice can soak into the meat. Finally add the mayonnaise and mix well.
