    Brown rice, 1 cup
    Water, 3 cups
    Salt, 1 tsp
    Tomato paste, .25 cup
    Extra virgin olive oil, 1 tbsp
    Garlic, to taste


Heat oil in pan and sauté rice. Add salt, water, garlic, and tomato paste and bring to a boil. Simmer for 60 minutes.
