Introduction

Ingredients

    4 T Olive Oil
    1 C finely chopped onion (1 small onion)
    1 1/2 tsp finely chopped garlic (2 cloves)
    3 cans (48 ozs total) solid packed tomatoes unsalted
    1 T basil
    1 T oregano
    2 tsp sugar
    1/2 tsp freshly ground black pepper
    1 1/2 tsp kosher salt
    2 6oz cans of tomato paste

Directions

Heat oil in sauce pan. Add onions, then garlic. Saute and stir until transparent.
Stir in the the remaining ingredients, adding herbs last.
Bring to a boil, reduce heat and simmer for at least 60 minutes.
