Introduction
Easy high fiber quick soup dinner made from canned black beans based upon a dish we were served in Puerto Rico. Can be made vegetarian by omitting the ham. Ingredients

1 can black beans, drained and rinsed
1 can S&W Cuban Recipe Black Beans
1/2 cup diced onions
1 cup cooked brown rice
1/2 cup diced lean ham
Tips
Add a small amount of goat or feta cheese if desired.
Directions
Place Cuban Recipe beans and drained black beans in pan and heat. May add water or broth to thin soup if desired.
Meanwhile place diced onions, cooked brown rice and diced ham in 3 easy to serve from bowls.
Ladle heated soup into bowls and put in ham, diced onion, and rice. Add a small amount of goat or feta cheese if desired.
