Ingredients

    2 tbsp butter
    1 cup orzo
    1/2 can tomato paste
    2 1/2 cup chicken broth
    1 tsp salt
    1 tsp nutmeg
    1 tsp cinnamon

Directions

Melt butter in heavy saucepan over medium heat. Stir in orzo. Saute, stirring constantly until butter is light amber and foams. Stir in broth, tomato paste, salt, allspice, nutmeg and cinnamon. Bring to a boil. Cover and simmer 25 to 30 minutes or until orzo is tender and liquid is absorbed. Let stand, covered, 15 minutes before serving.
